Iggy Farina took over Antica Napoli Pizza in Gettysburg on March 25, 2015. He has been working in the restaurant industry since he was 16 years old. He started off as a dishwasher in a family member’s restaurant and has loved the industry ever since. Iggy went to college for architecture, but always had a passion for cooking, which eventually led him back into the restaurant business. He worked his way up the ladder working as a manager, general manager, and director of operations in corporate chains. He didnít like how the corporate places lacked a personal connection with guests, so he decided he wanted to open up a mom and pop place in town. Once he saved up some money, Iggy was able to buy Antico Napoli Pizza. His favorite part of his job is getting to have a relationship with his customers and employees. He loves the independently owned business life, and it makes him happy when the customers say they had a great dining experience. Antica Napoli Pizza has a ìunique, creative, and satisfyingî menu. They offer a quality meal at an affordable price. They are famous for their thin crust, New York style pizza. The dough is made fresh, and the crust is drizzled with just the right amount of oil. To try new ingredients and recipes, they have a pizza of the week special that is constantly changing. As the restaurant gains a clientele, people are branching out beyond the pizza. Sandwiches are becoming increasingly popular. They have classic and unique burgers and subs. Iggy recommends the Iggmeister, a hamburger with cheese, bacon, onion rings, jalapeno poppers, BBQ sauce, and mayo. The restaurant is BYOB, so customers can bring in their own beer or wine.Antica Napoli Pizza is open Monday-Saturday 11-11 and Sunday 11-9. They offer takeout and delivery. Stop by for delicious food prepared with care!
