Kelly Gonzalez opened Azulejos Mexican Restaurant in 2014 and hired Executive Chef Lorenzo Gonzalez from Puebla, Mexico. With plenty of experience, Chef Gonzalez has trained both in the United States and Mexico and had worked in Long Island at Viva La Vida for 15 years.Some signature dishes at Azulejos include the Mole Poblano, Stuffed Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops, and the Chicken Fajitas. The Mole Poblano is a traditional dish from Puebla that features dry pepper and a savory mole sauce made with chocolate.
