Bairís Fried Chicken is a family run business. It was started in the 1980s by the Bair family who ran the business until selling it to Annette and Lance Fisher in 2007. Annette had taken some time off from her career as a paralegal and had helped friends run another eatery in the Central Market House. She was getting ready to return fulltime to the workforce, when she heard Bairís Fried Chicken was for sale. The Fishers have stayed true to the Bairís tradition of featuring fresh, never frozen chicken and providing tasty scratch made sides. A favorite menu item are the Bairís Chicken Strips.
