Anna Sarkisyan has always loved the restaurant business. When she moved from New York to Boca Raton, she decided to open her own. She learned a lot from her husband’s parents, who were always in the food business. Anna found Boca Skewers after a few months of living in Florida and was immediately drawn to the restaurant because it looked so cute and unique. It wasnít working out for the previous owners, but when Anna and her husband bought it, they brought the restaurant to the next level. It was difficult at first; the economy was not doing well and they had to make a name for themselves. Today, nine years later, Anna explained that they are doing so well and are always very busy. Inside of Boca Skewers, you will find many beautiful pieces of artwork created by local artists that customers love to admire.Boca Skewers is a laid back, unique, authentic Mediterranean restaurant. Their Eggplant Stew is a customer favorite; the healthy classic is under 500 calories and is made from scratch without butter. Meat lovers and vegetarians alike love Boca Skewers – after all, they offer over twenty vegetarian dishes! The Vegetarian Sampler is very popular, which includes tabouli, baba ganoush, hummus, and grape leaves. People go crazy for the Chicken and Lamb Kabobs with their homemade garlic dressing – a secret recipe that no one can replicate.Boca Skewers plays wonderful international music each day, including pieces from France, Italy, Cuba, and Africa. ìWe have customers that come in just to listen to the music – it is very unique,î Anna commented. Boca Skewers is closed to the public on Sundays but will happily host your private event. To enjoy a great meal surrounded by beautiful artwork and international music, head to Boca Skewers!
