Bottlz does not have a huge menu, but the chef prides himself in offering only perfected dishes ñ every item is a home run. Since day one, the ëLamb Shankí has been a huge hit. The chef sears a full lamb shank seasoned with salt and pepper, then slow braises it with fresh herbs, carrots, and onions for five to six hours. After, he takes the broth it was braised in and turns it into a natural au jus, and served with delicious scalloped potatoes. Another great dish is the ëBarramundií, freshly caught in Australian waters and flown in three times a week, the barramundi fish has a firm texture but is a nice pure white fillet. Served on a bed of herb risotto, the combination of flavors and the presentation on the plate is just fabulous. They offer a lot of unique events at Bottlz. The first Wednesday of every month is a wine tasting. For $35 dollars a person, you get to try six to seven different wines, along with small plates that the chef prepares. Beer tastings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. On the last Thursday of each month, the chef offers a cooking class. He picks out a three-course menu, and all who participate in the class get hands-on experience for the first hour while the chef explains the cooking process. Then, the guests take their seat and relax while he prepares it, and then they eat what they were just shown how to cook. Bottlz really wants to introduce people to new things and experiences theyíve never had before. From Labor Day until April 1st, Bottlz is open for dinner 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday through Saturday, closing at 9:00 pm Sundays.
