Caffe Luna Rosa has been delighting customers in the Delray Beach area and beyond since 1983. Caffe Luna Rosa began as a gelateria and sandwich shop, and in 1997 expanded into a full-service restaurant. Open seven days a week, 7:00 am until 10:30 pm, Caffe Luna Rosa is famous for their brunch and dinner. Caffe Luna Rosa is currently owned and operated by five different people who have been at Caffe Luna Rosa for 15 to 20 years each. Each partner plays a different role and contribute to each other’s success. There is the founder and main partner Fran Marincola, Bonnie Beer who runs the office and all related matters, Executive Chef Ernie Deplauze, daytime Chef Martin Barera, and General Manager Nicole Astisha. Guests of Caffe Luna Rosa rave about the different kinds of Eggs Benedict there is to choose from. Two extra large poached eggs on a toasted English muffin with homemade Hollandaise sauce and a potato cake, over your choice of smoked salmon, Canadian bacon, chicken apple sausages, lump crab meat, and more! You cannot leave without trying one of their famous Bloody Maryís; Bonnie brought the recipe from a bar she bartended at when she went to college at Penn State. The drink comes with pepperoni, pepperoncini, Swiss cheese, olives and celery – you can make a meal out of it!For dinner, the fresh homemade pastas are a must-try! The Scamponi is one of Caffe Luna Rosaís specialities; two butterflied eight inch colossal Mediterranean shrimp stuffed with lump crab meat and served over brown rice and lemon white wine sauce. This beachside restaurant blessed with sidewalk cafe is not one to miss!
