The Carne Chophouse is located at 1536 East 7th Avenue in Tampa. The restaurant occupies the El Centro Espanol Building in historic Ybor City. Built in 1912, the architecture is a beautiful combination of French Renaissance Revival, with heavy Spanish and Moorish influences. The Carne Chophouse is owned by long time restaurateur Jason Fernandez. El Centro Espanol Building is also where Jasonís grandparents had their first dance. Carne Chophouse is committed to using only the finest and freshest ingredients in crafting the masterpieces created in the kitchen. Jason has a passion for excellence and it is demonstrated in the preparation of the food and the unmatched level of excellent customer service. All of the steaks at Carne Chophouse are seasoned with kosher salt and coarse ground black pepper, topped with fried onion straws, and served with a parmesan crusted roma tomato. Popular choices include the Cowboy Ribeye, New York Strip and a 20 ounce T-Bone, all cooked to perfection.
