Cazador Grill is a family owned and operated Parilla Peruana, or Peruvian Grill. It was opened on December 26, 2014 by Richard and Elisabeth Diaz. Richard first established Cazador Grill in his home town of Arepiqua, Peru. He ran that location from 2010-2012 before moving to Tampa, Florida. The motto at Cazador Grill is ìquality food, good times, and great fellowship.î The team is passionate about providing an all around amazing dining experience for you and your family and friends. The menu at Cazador Grill contains authentic Peruvian cuisine. Everything in the restaurant is fresh, made to order, and from scratch. Their focus is on high quality grilled and marinated meats. You and your group can sample all of their best meat dishes in the Grand Cazador Combo. This dish feeds up to four and includes skirt steak, short ribs, chicken breast, pork tenderloin, chorizo, Cazador BBQ ribs, and Italian sausage. The other feature of the restaurant is their fresh seafood which includes ceviche, sauteed fish, deep fried seafood (shrimp, fish, octopus, calamari), and simmered fish in delicious Peruvian sauces. Elisabeth recommends the classic Peruvian dish, Lomo Saltado, which is sauteed meat with onions, tomatoes, and peppers, served with white rice with fried potatoes. Cazador Grill also serves wine and beer. They have an extensive wine list with choices from Argentina, Italy, California, and Spain. The Peruvian beer is a must try, but they also have a variety of other options. Cazador Grill prides itself on being one of the cleanest restaurants in Tampa. They are open Monday-Saturday.
