Nazim Alkan left Turkey and moved to New York in 1980, and after working for a restaurant for around 14 years he opened up his very own Turkish restaurant in 1994. He and his wife, Munevver, strive to provide and cook the freshest food possible every day. Nazim, who is 65 years old, boasts that he still continues to work because he loves bringing smiles to customersí faces, through the food they cook.
