City Diner in West Palm Beach is owned and operated by Richard P. Klein and his mother and partner, Joanne Larkie. Richard was raised in the restaurant business. All his life, Joanne owned restaurants and nightclubs. Richard spent summers training at high-end restaurants in New York City like La Cote Basque. In 2006, they opened City Diner together.City Diner is decorated with real vintage antiques. Everything is original, no replicas, and really adds to the atmosphere. When you walk in, you get a sense of a flashback. The old coke signs, advertisements, and train make you feel like you are back in the 1930ís. City Diner is your real, authentic, neighborhood diner. City Diner is famous for their Signature Chicken Pot Pie, Turkey Dinner, and Roast Beef Dinner. The Potato Crusted Snapper is also popular, along with the Lobster Burger Sandwich.
