The owner of the famous Sanford Restaurant sold Coquette Cafe six years ago to the original chef. The chef and owner of Coquette Cafe and his wife keep the menu in the traditional style of French cuisine. Coquette Cafe is a white linen dining experience in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Guests can come into the cafe, relax at a booth next to the big windows, and enjoy a glass of wine and French Onion soup ñ a perfect setting on a cold day.A traditional French style Trout is on the menu and absolutely delicious. The Trout is basted in brown butter and lemon and served with baby arugula and topped with glazed radishes. Also featured as an entree on the dinner menu is the ëBacon Wrapped Strauss Veal Meatloaf.í This rich meatloaf is served with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and a porcini reduction. If you are in the mood for steak, donít miss out on the ëHanger Steak,í prepared with a red wine shallot sauce and served with pommes frites and a lemon garlic aioli.
