DiMicco’s Authentic Italian Eatery, Warwick RI | Merchant Profile

DiMiccoís Authentic Italian Eatery is located at 1705 West Shore Road in Warwick. General Manager Domenic DiMicco tells us heís confident the restaurant has some of the best Italian food in Warwick and compares favorably to Federal Hill eateries. Domenic says the menu inspired by Chef Isaias Guzman’s vision of Authentic Italian Food. The building housing the restaurant originally was a Quaker Meeting House dating back to 1716. It was remodeled and reconstructed numerous times. It became a restaurant in the 1920s. Domenic tells us in order to make the facility ready for DiMiccoís, the building went through an extensive eight month renovation. An Italian made, 5,500 pound, Valoriani oven was imported from Italy and installed, enabling the perfect cooking environment for authentic Italian pizza.Popular appetizers include: Calamari Fritti, Point Judith calamari pan-fried with cherry peppers and caper berries, tossed with sun-dried tomatoes, Arugula relish aioli.
