Due Venti was established in August of 2008 and offers the Clawson area with exceptional Northern Italian cuisine. The owners, David and Nicole, have extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Chef Nicole was classically trained through rigorous academics at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. David has over 24 years of hands-on experience working in multiple types of restaurants. They both have a passion for all things Italian. When a perfect restaurant location became available close to their home, they jumped on the opportunity and opened their own restaurant. Customers rave about Due Ventiís ëFritelleí, or cauliflower fritters. A delicious appetizer staple made from a batter of softened cauliflower, flour, eggs, herbs and cheese, simply pan fried in olive oil and served with tomato capanna and a herbed aioli. The ëPesci Crostosi con Pistachioí is another favorite; pan seared sea bass encrusted with pistachios. The General Manager, Jeffrey, is certain if they removed the dish from the menu they would have an angry mob on their hands. Due Venti has an all scratch kitchen. To keep things fresh, Due Venti offers a seasonal menu, changing most everything up periodically. Their excellent beer and wine list also keeps them relevant. Due Venti is very focused on offering the best possible service to their guests. Jeffrey explained that as service professionals, everyone at Due Venti has a vested interest in their clients well being. If you are searching for the perfect place for a romantic Italian dinner, look no further than Due Venti.
