Frank opened Francescoís Hole in the Wall nearly 35 years ago with his father. Today, it is still a family establishment. Frank now runs the restaurant with his daughter Lucy, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in New York. Lucy takes care of all the wine and consults with her father Frank, the chef, about the lunch and dinner menu. At Francescoís Hole in the Wall, they serve authentic Italian food made from scratch, including a lot of local and organic ingredients. The menu at Francescoís Hole in the Wall changes daily, but Frank ensures if your favorite item is not on the menu for that day, they can make it for you. Francescoís Hole in the Wall specializes in Neapolitan style Italian cooking, but they offer dishes derived from all over Italy. A customer favorite ëSeafood Appetizerí includes king crab meat sauteed with escargot and shrimp in a roasted garlic sauce. For dinner, Frank recommends ëFrankís Favorite Pastaí, made with Italian gravy, rib meat, veal meatballs, and Italian sausage. Francescoís Hole in the Wall also makes many delicious desserts, including their world-famous ëButter Cakeí served with Italian vanilla gelato, and their homemade ëFlakey Cookiesí that are served with a cannoli cream and a drizzle of sea salt caramel to dip in. Francescoís also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options. Are you the type of person that has a hard time deciding to order, because everything just looks so good? Grab a few friends and head to Francescoís Hole in the Wall for the ìChefís Tableî experience. Frank will personally come up with a real Italian style dinner for you, complete with appetizers, main entrees, and great desserts. It is priced just like the items would be on the menu, so each experience varies each time in terms of price and food items. It makes for a fun and unique experience.
