Liliana, the owner of Giovanniís, moved to the United States from Colombia in 1984 as her family began to open several restaurants in New York. She branched out on her own and came down to Florida where she opened her very own restaurant and brought in Chef Tulio to execute each dish perfectly. Giovanniís CafÈ is the perfect place to visit in order to experience all kinds of new cuisines and flavors. Chef Tulio, who studied in Italy, is the master of fusion. The menu at Giovanniís is full of traditional dishes that fuse together multiple cultures and flavor profiles. Giovanniís Cafe focuses on blending the flavors of Peru, Colombia, and Italy. The Filet Mignon Medalion Colombian Fusion is a fan favorite that is made with New York strip covered in Colombian coffee grounds and sautÈed with Tequila XO Patron then served with a spinach, cabbage, and garlic hash and Colombian yellow potatoes with feta cheese. The Jalea Mixta is another popular pick that is created with fried seafood mix lightly breaded seafood marinated in ceviche juice, cilantro, and tomato topped with red onions.
