Maria Laura Ramonda opened Holi Vegan because of her passion for food and veganism. Her family shares the same passion. She came to America from Argentina and hoped to introduce people to a vegan lifestyle. A lot of her clients not vegan, and are trying it out for the first time.Most of the recipes on the menu were designed by Mark Rainfeld, the restaurantís chef. The most popular items are the Jerk Tempeh Panini and the Southwest Veggie Burger. The food is all made from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Ramonda makes all of the desserts herself. She is a pro at making delicious brownies using bananas and apples instead of eggs. Coconut rice pudding is another best selling dessert. Holi Vegan also has a super healthy Kombucha tea (live cultures). Alcoholic drinks include local beers and family made wines. Ramondaís father runs a vineyard in Argentina and he makes all of the restaurant’s wines. Holi Vegan is open 7 days a week and has indoor and outdoor seating. Come enjoy this ìHOLIstic experience!î
