Jam ën Honey is a full-service, diner-style restaurant that will be celebrating its sixth year in business in August of 2016. It is family-owned by Frank and Jeanine Ruffolo and is the latest of their restaurant ventures. Frank has actually been working in the industry since the age of 13 and by the time he was 17, actually opened up his own sandwich and pizza place. The Ruffoloís also currently own two other restaurants in the Chicago-area, Francoís Ristorante and Franconelloís, which Frank runs with partner Nello.Jam ën Honey is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, very close to DePaul, which gives the restaurant a constant flow of new and returning customers. When scoping out the perfect location for Jam ën Honey there were no breakfast spots in the area, just bars and sandwich shops, so the restaurant has flourished offering the only breakfast nearby. Something youíll find on every table at Jam ën Honey, and a customer favorite, is their big jug of Nutella to garnish any of their meals. Some of their most popular dishes include: the South of the Border Burrito ñ scrambled eggs, chorizo, black beans, sour cream, guacamole, pepper jack, and pico de gallo served with potatoes, Banana and Nutella Pancakes topped with whipped cream, and their BLAST Sandwich ñ bacon, lettuce, avocado, shrimp, and tomato with pesto mayo on toasted brioche. Jam ën Honeyís menu is huge with tons of tasty and creative dishes you wonít find anywhere else. Jam ën Honey is open from 8am to 9pm daily offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also offer catering for small events, most frequently around the holidays. In addition to their dining room, Honey ën Jam also has a patio for customers to enjoy during the summer months. The staff is friendly and attentive and makes sure that every customerís experience is a good one every time they visit. If youíre in Chicago be sure to stop by for a breakfast youíll never forget!
