Jon Ryanís Pubs has three locations: 478 Lowell Street Route 110 in Methuen, 1795 Main Street Route 38 in Tewksbury, and 56 Chelmsford Road in Billerica. Jon Ryanís Pubs is a true family business. Bob Ryan, the patriarch of the family, spent over twenty years ascending the management ladder, working in the corporate restaurant industry. In 2011 he decided it was time to branch out on his own. The restaurants are named for his son Jon, who works in the eatery full time as Concept President. His son Mike recently graduated college and now acts as the Vice President of Operations for the pubs. The logo of the restaurant is a bicycle and is symbolic of the paper route Bob worked in order to help support his mother and siblings as a boy. Tweksbury was the first location open in 2011, then the Billerica location was added in 2014. The Methuen location is the latest to open in 2016. Jon Ryanís strives to provide consistently good food at a fair price in a fun and lively atmosphere. Jon Ryanís serves American pub food and delectable comfort foods. Start off your meal with the Nacho Grande appetizer. It is a mountain of crispy tortilla chips, baked with monterey jack and cheddar cheeses, then laced with a creamy queso, and topped with diced tomatoes, diced onion, black olives, jalapenos, and sour cream. Another appetizer favorite is the Firecracker Shrimp: gulf shrimp lightly breaded in Japanese panko crumbs, then deep fried and tossed in a sweet chili sauce, and served over Sriracha cole slaw.
