Joni Saber is the owner of Joniís 340 Diner in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She opened up the business about 5 years ago. Business ownership and cooking run in Joniís family. As a child, her parents always worked for themselves. She grew up in Vermont, where her mother would make cookies and cheese from their milking goats. They traveled a lot and distributed their products all over the country. Joni has fond memories of going to diners as a child, so opening her own diner was an obvious choice for her. The 340 in the dinerís name comes from the highway 340 that runs through Lancaster. The food at Joniís 340 Diner is all fresh and homemade as much as possible. They have plenty of delicious house made options like hand cut fries, roasted turkey, and chicken pot pie. The restaurant serves an extensive list of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. For breakfast, the Stuffed French Toast is a must have. It is stuffed with cream cheese filling and topped with fresh fruit. If youíre extra hungry, try the Hungry Dutchman, complete with two eggs, a pancake, french toast, bacon, sausage, and homefries. On the lunch menu, customers love the hot roast beef, with a side of homemade coleslaw. Joni recommends the Meatloaf, or the Hand Cut Delmonico Steak, cooked to perfection, for dinner. Joniís 340 Diner is the first diner in the area to deliver, so you can enjoy a savory homemade meal in the comfort of your home. They also offer occasional catering. The restaurant is open Monday-Saturday from 6 AM to 9 PM and 7 AM to 9 PM on Sundays. Stop by for a filling and delicious meal any time of the day!
