Kameya is a sushi and Korean restaurant that is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Husband and wife, John and Sarah Lim, who have over thirty years of experience in the food industry, own the restaurant. This is Johnís seventh restaurant in Illinois, but his first in the city of Chicago. Both John and Sarah are very involved in the day-to-day operations of Kameya. John goes to the fish market every morning to pick out the freshest and best catches of the day. John also acts as one of the chefs at Kameya, his specialty is creating mouth-watering sushi rolls. Sarah also helps in the restaurant by cooking, waiting, tables, and even washing dishes at the end of the night. Both owners are very hard working and concentrate on giving their customers the best experience possible. One of Kameyaís most popular dishes is their Tuna Tartar Tower. It comes layered with avocado, tuna tartar, and salsa sauce. Itís light and refreshing, great to share as an appetizer before your meal. Kameyaís sushi is also extremely popular amongst customers. John spends time and lots of attention to crafting the perfect sushi rolls with his own delicate touch. Although it is a lot of work, John says itís worth it to go the extra mile in order to provide his customers with high-quality ingredients that taste great.
