Finding its niche in the Daytona Beach area, Las Olas Argentinian Latin Cuisine has brought a whole new experience to the community providing an Authentic, freshly prepared menu. Not many people can say they built their restaurant with their own two hands, that is of course with the exception of owner Enrique Zahn. With the help of his son Brian, they started construction in 2008 and haven’t looked back since. Providing a welcoming atmosphere with a homey experience, Las Olas has shown rapid success, gaining massive popularity after just opening on January 20th 2016.If the family oriented experience wasn’t enough, Enriqueís son is regarded as one of the best chefs in the area, with a resume that certainly proves it. After graduating from the San Francisco Culinary Academy, and then obtaining his masters in Argentina, Brain has successfully had several television programs, showcasing his talent to a large audience. With that, customers can rest assured they will be indulging in true Argentinean cuisine. Working to ìconquer the customer from the belly up,î Enrique has carefully and creatively constructed a fantastic menu. One of the house specialties, the Paradilla for Two, is served on a table top Asador Combination platter with skirt steak, short ribs, sausage, blood sausage, and half chicken. The restaurant also makes their pasta fresh daily, one worth trying being the Faggotini de Cordero. The dish created with Lamb filled pasta served with rosemary cream sauce and is sure to satisfy. No matter what the customerís preference is, Las Olas is sure to have something to suit their taste. Enrique takes great pride in his restaurant because it represents his heritage and is one of the only ones on the east coast. This is all the motivation he needs to create a culinary and social experience for every person that enters. He works with a group of friends that all share the same dream, and wanted to change the norm of dining that comes with just eating and leaving. Taking no shortcuts, Las Olas Argentinian Latin Cuisine is a must try while in the area, and will provide a great time for family and friends.
