Ever since 1938, the London Chop House has providing Detroit with the perfect elegant restaurant experience. Bjorn started with the restaurant three and a half years ago. On Valentineís Day 2012, the London Chop House reopened after renovation and restoration to continue the legacy. With the renovation came an overhauled menu ñ that included much loved classics and new, contemporary delights. The London Chop House is known for its ëAustralian Wagyu New York Stripí. 14 ounces of juicy, tender steak, Bjorn explains that some customers tell him they usually do not like strip, but they absolutely love this steakís flavor. Another customer favorite is the ëMishima Wagyu Boneless Ribeyeí, premium cut Chilean Wagyu, Grade A7 ñ the highest Grade brought into the state of Michigan. The London Chop House has plenty of great seafood options as you would expect, including east coast and west coast oysters and line caught whole fish from all around the world. The London Chop House is open for lunch Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Happy Hour goes from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and dinner starts at 5:00 pm. Bjorn strongly recommends reservations, as the restaurant is perfectly sized for sophistication. This is the type of place where people love to enjoy four and five course meals, and dine all night long.A wonderful feature of the London Chop House is the LCH Cigar Lounge. After your delectable meal, head upstairs for a drink, cigar, and a game of billiards. Enjoy your night of luxury.
