Moca Asian Bistro was opened in Woodbury, New York on January 18th, 2013. The word MOCA stands for Modern Concept of Culinary Arts and that is how the bistro got its name. One of the main focal points of the bistro is the marble bar and it resembles that of a 5-star hotel lounge. The owner used to work in the hotel business so much of the inspiration for the design of the restaurant comes from that. Moca Asian Bistro is an Asian restaurant and it encompasses Asian flavors and cuisine from all over the world. Moca is well equipped with a sushi bar and egg roll bar. Some of the most popular dishes are the Avocado Salad, King Crab Tuna Dumplings, and Chilean Sea Bass. For meats, they are cooked Japanese style on a rock stove and traditionally made.Aside from dinner foods, Moca Asian Bistro has a great dessert menu that was just recently redone. A fan favorite is the Oreo Tempura, as well as the Fire Roasted Apple Cobbler. The menu at Moca Asian Bistro is so extensive and has such a large variety that all customers will be able to find a savory dish. Also, at Moca, there is a family feel in that its staff knows many of its customers and it feels comfortable and homey. This makes for a more pleasant dining experience. Moca Asian Bistro has a full bar with traditional Asian vodkas, as well as American and Scottish Vodkas. They have a large beer selection too. Another amenity Moca has is it has two private rooms, one of which being a ìSuper VIPî room that has karaoke in it.
