Nancy and Lenny Abreu love to travel. And wherever they travel they are always on the lookout for Nancyís favorite type of restaurant. The classic American diner. Lenny was on the corporate side of the restaurant business for thirty years and felt it was time for a change. Inspired by Nancyís love of diners they decided to open one themselves. They decided to give their diner a cool 1950ís era kind of a vibe. It took about three months of scouring flea markets and yard sales to collect authentic 50ís memorabilia. Three years ago Nancy and Lenny proceeded to transform an abandoned pizza place into a ’50s themed diner with plenty of pink accents and sporting a spunky pizzaz. Open for breakfast and lunch between 5:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Diner maybe named after Nancy but the big seller on the menu is named after Lenny. The gargantuan, Pot Luck Lenny, is a massive meal consisting of 3 eggs, homemade corned beef hash, 5 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, home fries, and toast or English muffin. Always smart to follow his mother’s advice. Lenny seasons the dish with, ì a little salt a little pepper and a little love.î The popular pancakes are the largest in Nashua, So big in fact, one fills up an entire plate. Lunch items include a tasty, Steak and Cheese Sandwich and Cheese Burgers. In addition to strawberry, chocolate and vanilla shakes they have cookies and cream and banana in the summer months. If you are looking for a great cup of coffee and an authentic 1950ís diner experience.Check out Nancyís Diner today.
