New Seoul Garden is a Korean restaurant that has been open in Southfield, Michigan for 24 years. Just recently it has undergone change in ownership and management. Sarah and her parents will now be running the restaurant breathing new life into the establishment. Before owning New Seoul Garden, Sarahís parents owned a restaurant about 10 years ago in Troy, Michigan called Seoul Garden. After leaving the restaurant, they began selling hair and beauty supplies which Sarah also became a part of. Sarah actually ended up in New York doing beauty wholesale, but when the chance to own another restaurant presented itself to her parents she hopped on a plane back to Michigan to help them run New Seoul Garden. The food industry is where their passion really lies. One reason Sarahís family purchased New Seoul Garden was to bring better Korean food back to the area. They feature over 300 items on their menu including sushi, Korean BBQ, and traditional Korean dishes. One of the most popular items is their Bulgogi, which is thinly sliced marinated beef ribeye that is served to you raw so you can cook it at your own table. It comes with tons of sides and mix-ins that you can use to build your own delicious, customized bites. Over the next couple months New Seoul Garden will be undergoing renovations to the restaurant and new changes to the menu, but will remain open throughout. Currently, Sarah and her parents are working on setting up an area for guests to enjoy karaoke. New Seoul Garden also takes reservations. If youíre in the mood for phenomenal, traditional Korean food, then make sure to stop by New Seoul Garden soon!
