Nickís Tuscan Grill opened in January of 2014 and is owned by Sam and Carol. They each have their own individual backgrounds in the industry, but together make a great business partnership and team. When they first opened the restaurant, they worked on updating its look by painting, adding murals, changing fixtures, and adding an outdoor patio in the back.In just two years, Nickís Tuscan Grill has garnered a great following with customers who live in many different surrounding areas. The restaurant can seat about seventy people inside and during the summer months can seat about thirty people on the patio. One thing Nickís Tuscan Grill prides itself on is that 90% of the food on their menu is made from scratch. All their ingredients are fresh, never frozen and are used to create homemade meals.One of their most popular dishes off the menu is the homemade Papardelle Bolognese. It features a hearty Ragu of slow braised short ribs, crumbled Italian sweet sausage, and ricotta cheese that customers say is ìto die forî. Another fan favorite is the Seafood Arrabiata, which consists of calamari, mussels, scallops, clams, and petite shrimp tossed in a light tomato broth with cherry peppers and parsley served over cappelini pasta. Everything at Nickís Tuscan Grill is hearty and fresh, and sends every customer home with a full stomach. The bread and desserts at Nickís Tuscan Grill are also made from scratch rounding out their fresh from farm to table experience.Nickís also features a full bar in the restaurant that is stocked with delicious drinks. One of their specialties is homemade sangria that is a signature drink. It is made from scratch and is available in red all year round and white during the summer. They also have great cosmos, martinis, and other cocktails to choose from. Nickís Tuscan Grill also offers Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM that features half priced drinks and appetizers. The outdoor patio offers a more casual dining experience for customers. On some Friday and Saturday nights you can find karaoke or a DJ playing light and comfortable music on the patio. It definitely gives the restaurant a light and fun energy that customers can choose to partake in or to stay inside for a more traditional dining experience.What sets Nickís Tuscan Grill apart from the other surrounding restaurants is their attention to the quality and consistency of the food.
