Nonna’s Italian Kitchen, Shelby Charter Township MI | Merchant Profile

Nonnaís Italian Kitchen will make you feel like part of the family. In November of 2009, Gabriellaís parents decided to venture into restaurants. None of them worked in the industry before, but they strongly understood good food and good service. The main reason they wanted to open a restaurant was because they always had large family gatherings; both Gabriellaís grandmothers are strongly passionate about food and family. Gabriella explained that the people make her job so rewarding. ìWe meet such wonderful customers, and they mean everything to us,î said Gabriella. Her whole family really enjoys making people happy and being a part of their holidays and family events. They also love being able to provide people with jobs and opportunities. The ëArancinií is a must try at Nonnaís Italian Kitchen. Delicious homemade rice made with lots of butter, filled with meat sauce, peas, and mozzarella cheese, then rolled together and fried to perfection. Customers travel far distances for the rice balls, some even ask if the dish can be mailed to their house!Everyone at Nonnaís Italian Kitchen does their best to accommodate everyone in their quaint establishment. Nonnaís Italian Kitchen would love to host your next private event; they are open Sundays just for parties of 50 or more. Give Nonnaís Italian Kitchen a try. It might be a bit loud, but itís like a large, fun, Italian party, and youíre invited!
