Nori is an authentic Asian cuisine restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida. It was opened by Ann Boonsermsap and Eddie Moopum on September 1, 2013. They opened the restaurant, because they are food fanatics with a passion for Asian cuisine. The word nori means seaweed in Japanese, but the owners picked the name because it contains the first two letters of the words noodles and rice. Ann, Eddie, and Annís husband, Nick, are from Thailand. The three have years of cooking experience and have traveled to restaurants all over the world. Nick and Eddie are both experienced chefs. Ann waitressed during her time in business school and also has a passion for cooking. Nori specializes in Thai cuisine, sushi, and ramen. All of the food is made fresh in their scratch kitchen, using the highest quality ingredients. Their ramen won an award in 2014 for being the best ramen in the county. One of the most popular ramen dishes is the Spicy Miso Ramen. It is made with Noriís spicy bean paste broth, Chashu pork, bocchoy, corn, bean sprouts, kikurage mushrooms, seasoned broiled egg, sesame, scallions, and hot sesame oil. Ann recommends trying their delicious sushi and sashimi, which is both delicious and beautifully presented. The Pad Thai is another great options, and pairs well with any choice of meat, including beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp. Nori also serves a selection of wine and beer. At Nori, everything is made from the heart. The front and back of house staffs are all dedicated to giving customers a memorable dining experience. Nori is open daily for dinner and for lunch on weekdays. Check it out for fresh Asian cuisine and great service!
