Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen quickly became a favorite after it opened itís doors on March 17th, 2015. Owner Julie Casey explained she let the community of College Park in Orlando have the privilege of choosing the name of the restaurant. Julie has worked in the restaurant industry a long time, and Outpost Neighborhood kitchen is her first venture on her own. Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen offers what Julie calls ìclassic and twisted Americanaî. Try the ëTwisted Plymouthí, Outpostís version of a turkey sandwich. The ëTwisted Plymouthí is stacked high with turkey breast, egg, arugula, bacon and an IPA mustard sauce on homemade bread that tastes like turkey stuffing. Customers rave about the ëShrimp & Gritsí, complete with cajun butter gravy, shrimp, and chorizo. Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen has a Happy Hour Tuesday through Sunday (closed Monday) with great specials on drinks and appetizers from 3:00 pm through 7:00 pm. Their Sunday brunch is so popular that Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen now offers brunch on Saturday as well. Saturdayís ìKegs and Eggsî feature beer buckets, beer tastings, and an omelet station. On Sundays, enjoy bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys with live music provided by the lead singer of The Supervillains, Scott Suldo. Outpost Neighborhood Kitchen makes its own golf ball sized tater tots from scratch every day that drive taste buds wild. Outpost tries to incorporate local small businesses and local craft beers into the items on their menu. The beer batters feature local breweries and the Bloody Maryís heat is provided by a local young lady that makes amazing hot sauces. Everything down to Outpost Neighborhood Kitchenís dressing is made from scratch. Julie promises you will not leave hungry.
