Patio Tapas and Beer was established by Bryant and Nathalia Fajardo. Bryant studied at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles. After graduation, for several years Bryant worked with some of the best chefs in French, Italian and Spanish cuisine. When he moved to Boca, Bryant realized that there was a lack of Spanish restaurants around. Since he most recently worked for and was trained by Jose Andreas in Spanish cuisine, the transition was a no-brainer for him. Patio Tapas and Beer is famous for their creative tapas. The ëPork Belly Montaditoí is highly popular; the pork belly is brined for 24 hours, then slow cooked for 10 hours. Finally, Bryant crisps it in a hot pan with olive oil and serves it on a toasted baguette with pickled shallots and aioli. The ëPiquillo Rellenoí is another popular small plate; stuffed piquillo pepper with goat cheese. One of Patio Tapas and Beerís specialities is the ëGambas al Ajilloí, Florida wild caught shrimp poached in brandy, olive oil, garlic and lemon juice. Bryant explains that it is simple but deliciously juicy. Seafood lovers also enjoy the ëPulpo Saladí; seared octopus, cherry tomatoes and arugula with lemon vinaigrette. Patio Tapas and Beer offers three Spanish beers and some local Florida crafts. Customers also love their mouthwatering and flavorful sangria. Check out Patio Tapas and Beer for their great Happy Hour specials. You are sure to be blown away by the outstandingly creative dishes and perfect flavor combinations.
