Peabodyís Restaurant is a landmark restaurant in Birmingham, Michigan. After Susanís father came home from World War II, he opened a grocery store on his familyís property in 1949. About 25 years later in 1975, he transformed it into a restaurant. In 1980, Peabodyís burned down to the ground, but was back up and running in six and a half months, and is still going strong. Susan has worked for her dad since the beginning and continues to run the restaurant with her two sisters, Nancy, and Barbara. The Oven Roasted Prime Rib and the Lake Perch are two specialities on the menu that are very popular at Peabodyís Restaurant. They are also known for their Swiss Onion Soup, a delicacy the Peabodyís original chef created. At Peabodyís Restaurant, everything is made from scratch, including all the soups and sauces. You can always expect great, consistent food made fresh in house. There is also a gluten-free and nut-free menu!Peabodyís Restaurant seats 280 guests, 200 more than most of the restaurants in town!
