Pho Hornís is a Vietnamese restaurant in Pawtucket Rhode Island. Teven, the owner, opened the establishment 10 years ago. Teven and his family are from Vietnam. It was not always his plan to own a restaurant; the idea actually came from his mother. She would travel all the way to Boston to get good Pho and other Vietnamese cuisine. He wanted to provide a niche that was missing in the area. The menu at Pho Hornís is comprised of Tevenís parentís recipes. All of the food is homemade and fresh. The name of the restaurant comes from the classic vietnamese rice noodle soup, Pho. Pho is one of the signature dishes of the menu, and is a must have. Their Vermicelli dishes are also very popular. Vermicelli is a traditional Vietnamese dish with fresh mint, green leaf lettuce, roasted peanuts, scallions and steamed vermicelli. It is rolled by hand at your table in softened rice paper. Teven recommends the Steamed Rice Plate with Grilled Pork Chops, which contains pork chops, julienned pork skin, steamed ground pork cake, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and clear sauce. Pho Hornís also has a selection of Vietnamese coffees, bubble teas, and Vietnamese soft drinks. Teven says his favorite part of his job is the customers. People come from all around to eat his food, and he loves when people enjoy their dining experience. Pho Hornís is open daily for lunch and dinner. Check it out for delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine!
