Rancho Grande is a must try Mexican restaurant next time you are in Garden City. Owner of Rancho Grande, Linda, opened her first restaurant in 1989, but three years later moved to her current location. Before moving to the United States, Linda was born in Mexico and raised in a family that encouraged great work ethic. As a young girl, Linda helped prepare homemade meals with her mother where she learned how to make authentic tamales, mole sauce, and more. Linda began working in restaurants around Michigan a few years after moving to the United States, where she met the father of her two children, one of which works in the restaurant with Linda today. Linda applied her mother’s culinary teachings and with growing love and experience in the restaurant industry, she opened her own business. Since 1992, Rancho Grande has been serving up authentic Mexican cuisine in a fun, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. The extensive menu features familiar Mexican fare at great prices. There is something for everyone on the menu, but if you can’t decide on one dish – try the Combination Plate. The plate has one cheese enchilada, ground beef taco, bean tostada , and a side of rice and beans. You may also order a vegetarian rendition of the Combination Plate as well. No matter what you order at Rancho Grande, you’re sure to be satisfied, it’s all served hot and fresh! Although a vacation to Mexico would be nice, you don’t need to purchase airfare to experience the authentic cuisine. Instead, come to Rancho Grande in Garden City. Expect a warm welcome upon walking through the doors and a delicious meal before you leave – you won’t be disappointed!
