Range is a health-conscious, environmentally friendly, and locally involved restaurant that opened in October 2013. They focus on providing farm to table food as a lifestyle, not a trend. However, there are two fan favorite dishes that Range continues to serve on their menu throughout the year. One of these dishes is their Buffalo-Butter Cauliflower that is served with a house-made buttermilk bleu cheese sauce. The Bacon Flatbread is another fan favorite and consists of a housemade flatbread with buttermilk bleu cheese, topped with brussels sprouts, peanuts, caramelized-peppered bacon, and olive oil. The dish is light, flavorful, and has a great sweet and salty component.Rangeís steaks and salads are consistently great in taste and presentation and are very popular amongst customers. The restaurant also caters to food allergies and dietary restrictions offering gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. One of the dishes on the kidís menu, Katieís Chicken Fingers, was actually named after a customer with strict food allergies who dines at Range very often with her family because they are so great with accommodating her needs.The restaurant even has a private room that can fit thirty-six people comfortably and can be reserved for special events and parties. It is fully serviced and has its own private bathroom, private bar, and separate music that has Bluetooth capabilities. The room can be set up to accommodate any type of event with flexible packages and pricing. Range hosts a monthly community night as a way to connect and engage with the community and local organizations giving back to the community. A portion of each Range Community Night sales are donated to specific local organizations within the Chicagoland area.
