Rochester Tap Room was established on March 12th, 2015. Four successful restaurant-minded individuals got together and created a restaurant that celebrates the repeal of the Prohibition. Six weeks before opening, they performed a whole demolition to the interior of the building; ripped everything down and built it all back up. The old-timey feel is perfectly complimented with contemporary dishes. ìThe Beer Chickî Missy Markevics chooses which beers run through Rochester Tap Roomís 60 taps. Those beers happen to be almost all craft and mostly Michigan brewed. One of the taps is even champagne. Rochester Tap Room also has a great wine, whiskey and bourbon selection. Executive Chef Travis Waynick used to be a corporate chef and oversaw multiple restaurants. Working in the industry all his life, Travis strives to be creative in the kitchen. Rochester Tap Room changes up their menu quite a bit by offering seasonal dishes, but many favorites have stayed on the menu since day one. One of those favorites is the ëNot Your Mamaís PB&Jí appetiser. Bacon jam, fried Marcona almond butter, macerated berries in citrus and raw sugar served with crostinis. Whatís more fun than building your own weird (but delicious) PB&Js?General Manager Michael LaBranche strives to make sure Rochester Tap Room is a place that everyone will enjoy. Rochester Tap Room regularly hosts 15-25 guest parties, and will cater on or off site. The unique building creates a fun and comfortable atmosphere, and they canít wait to have you join them.
