Roseville Tavern, Lancaster PA | Merchant Profile

Roseville Tavern is a cornerstone in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for great food, tasty drinks, and good times. Managed by Andy and Dawn Plaisted, the tavern originally opened in the early 1970s. The building that houses Roseville Tavern was built in 1799 and during that time the town was known as Roseville, hence the tavernís name. Both Andy and Dawn have worked in the restaurant business for quite some time and their favorite part is getting to know and interacting with their customers.Everything at the Roseville Tavern is created from scratch using the freshest and finest ingredients. They feature a basic menu as well as a seasonal menu that changes multiple times throughout the year. One of their more recent seasonal items was the Connor Sandwich, which customers loved. Itís a flatbread thatís made with chicken breast, ham, provolone, parmesan, and romaine lettuce. Another fan favorite thatís featured year-round is the French Dip Sandwich that features roast beef dipped in au-jus with melted provolone served on a toasted baguette. All of the restaurantís soups, chilis, and desserts are freshly made daily. The chili recipe they use today is still the same one they used when Roseville first opened in the 70s. The rest of the menu is full of delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and a small selection of entrees. Dawn suggests anything with their pulled pork because its flavor is out of this world. In addition to their tasty cuisine, Roseville Tavern also offers a full bar stocked with a variety of great drinks and spirits. They serve food every day until 11:00 PM, but the bar stays open until 2:00 AM daily. All in all, Roseville Tavern is a quaint and cozy neighborhood restaurant.
