Sa La Thai Restaurant is located at 337 North Queen Street in Lancaster. Owner of the restaurant, Julie Siludin, tells us she and her husband opened the restaurant six years ago. Both of them had previously worked in Thai eateries and wanted to own their own small business. At Sa La Thai Restaurant, they are committed to cooking for customers in the same fashion they would cook for themselves. They only use the finest and freshest ingredients and never put MSG in any of their dishes. Popular Soups include: Lemon Grass Soup and Coconut Soup made with coconut milk, a choice of chicken, vegetable, or tofu, onion, galangal, lime leaf, bell pepper, mushroom, and lime juice. A popular entree is the Drunken Noodles made with jumbo rice noodles stir fried with onion, bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, egg, and sweet Thai basil in traditional spicy roasted chili. Also, Pad Thai, thin rice noodles stir fried with tofu, bean sprout, scallion, egg, and ground peanut in tamarind traditional seasonings. It comes with your choice of meat. Specialty Thai dishes include a unique Alligator meal that is stir fried with onion, carrot, broccoli, bell pepper, baby corn, rhizome root, fresh pepper corn, basil, and red curry paste. Also, the Tamarind Duck, with house made Tamarind sauce that features a crispy half duck served with steamed mixed vegetables. Desserts options include: Sweet Roti with Vanilla Ice Cream, Coconut Pudding, and Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice Cream. The 82 seat restaurant is BYOB and they do catering, carry-out, and delivery. There is space for on-site events and parties too. If you are looking for healthy homemade Thai food, stop in at Sa La Thai today.
