Marcís father and uncle established Sindbadís Restaurant & Marina in 1949. Sindbadís started out as just a small place with a limited menu but has grown a lot over the last six decades. Sindbadís expanded their restaurant size and added an upstairs area where they can accommodate large events of 200 guests. Their outdoor deck has a great view of the harbor. Despite Marcís family owning restaurants, Marc really did not start working in the restaurant industry until he was in college. When Marc realized his baseball career was not going to play out as planned, he decided he needed to work. He learned the business while getting his Management degree, and came to Sindbadís Restaurant & Marina in 1980. By 1985, Marc lost his father, bought out his uncle, and has been running Sindbadís ever since. Sindbadís Restaurant & Marina offers the same menu for lunch and dinner, so you can enjoy what you like to eat at any time. There is something for everyone at Sindbadís, from burgers to Surf & Turf, and Perch to Clam Chowder. Each and every dish is made with the freshest ingredients. Sindbadís menu also includes a full array of sandwiches, shrimp dishes, salads, and appetizers. Sindbadís Restaurant & Marina has their own harbor – in total they have 86 boat wells. Some of the wells they rent for the season (painted gray), and about 30 of them are available for guests (painted white). You can just dock your boat in any available white spot and head up to Sindbadís to enjoy a great meal!
