Tamarac Brick Oven Pizza is owned and operated by New Jersey native, Doug Reyes, who took over management in May of 2016. Growing up, Dougís father owned Pizzerias throughout the 1980s and early 2000s, which is where Doug got his first taste for the restaurant business. Doug himself broke into the business in 2011 when he opened his own deli and grill in New Jersey. In September of 2015 he made the move down to Florida where he helped rebuild a pizzeria on the brink of closing and turned it around into a successful business. Finally in May of 2016, Doug decided to branch out on his own and turn Tamarac Brick Oven Pizza into a popular community spot.Today, Doug has done a great job of building up his restaurantís reputation. He treats his eatery as a corporate store where heís always monitoring food quality, customer service, and his customerís expectations. This way he is able to produce the best products and experience possible. Everything at the restaurant is made from scratch using the freshest ingredients and very low-sodium in order to make the food healthier. All their sauces are homemade and so are the meatballs. The food found at Tamarac Brick Oven Pizza is a nice mixture of Southern Florida, Little Italy New York, and New Jersey cuisine. One of the restaurantís top sellers is the Traditional Italiano Sub. It is made with a chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, and their house balsamic spread. When it comes to their pizzas, you canít go wrong with the Meat Lovers that has pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, ham, bacon, and mozzarella cheese. The brick oven pizzas are typically cooked in a New York thin crust style, but if youíre looking for a thicker crust you can ask for it to be made Sicilian style. If youíre a vegetarian or just love vegetables, the Veggie Lovers is the pie for you. The pizza is topped with tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, red onions, broccoli, black olives, and mozzarella. The rest of the menu includes delicious appetizers, salads, wings, pasta, and Italian favorites. The Italian Feast is a great dish to order when you want to try a little bit of everything. The dish comes with a taste of lasagna, stuffed shells, baked ziti, and a meatball with tomato sauce & melted mozzarella. The restaurant also features specials like their daily lunch special where guests can get two slices of pizza or an individual ten inch pizza for a great price! Another diner favorite is the Weekend Feast that includes a large two-topping pizza, ten jumbo wings, twelve garlic rolls, and a two liter bottle of soda.Tamarac Brick Oven Pizza is open seven-days-a-week and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is their mission to ensure that each and every guest who walks through the door feels comfortable and at home. Doug makes sure that his staff is always friendly, hardworking, and accountable. His mantra is that ìthe business should run better when Iím not there,î meaning he has trained his staff to always provide topnotch service. If you donít have time to dine-in, the pizzeria also offers carryout and delivery services and customers can even order online through their website. The next time youíre craving a delicious, homemade meal, look no further than Tamarac Brick Oven Pizza – you wonít be disappointed!
