Aaron showed talent in the culinary arts when he was just a young boy. You could always find him in the kitchen, helping out his mother. Aaron began working in the industry as a dishwasher when he was 15 years old. At age 16, Aaron began learning from Executive Chef Anton Brunbauer. Aaron would eventually become an Executive Chef himself. Chef Aaron gained experience in Mexican and Argentinean cuisines when working in Las Vegas, and learned the art of sushi making and Japanese cuisine while studying abroad in Japan. Chef Aaron also has a wealth of knowledge in Italian, Mediterranean, and Modern American cuisine. After years of working for fine dining restaurant groups, Chef Aaron decided to venture out on his own. Chef Aaron established Provecho Catering, his own food truck the Chrome Toaster, and Tapas 51, a Latin American tapas bar.At Tapas 51, Chef Aaron puts his own spin on dishes from South America, Central America, and Mexico. The modern tapas menu is filled with delicious small plates bursting with ingredients local to North Carolina and South Carolina farms.
