Thai-namite is a unique Thai and sushi restaurant that is owned and operated by old college friends, Kim Kongsin, Nini Buranabunyut, and Dear Panyasopa. They all have a passion for food and hospitality, so opening their very own restaurant together was a dream come true. The restaurant serves both traditional Thai cuisine as well as some Japanese dishes including fresh sushi. Thai-namite first opened in 2010 and served only Thai food at the beginning. Kim, Nini, and Sarinlada all share a love for sushi though and decided to expand their kitchen to include a sushi bar as well. The menu is full of variety including appetizers, entrees, stir-fry and rice dishes, and of course a diverse selection of sushi rolls. Everything is made using the freshest and finest ingredients and customers canít seem to get enough. The Green Bay Packer roll is a fan favorite that is made with smoked salmon, cream cheese, jalapeno, and cilantro topped with avocado, unagi sauce, and lemon sauce. In addition to the restaurantís delectable cuisine, Thai-namite also offers beer and wine for their customers to enjoy with their meal. They feature a Happy Hour too where you can find great deals on drinks and food. Thai-namiteís atmosphere is very warm and cozy with a modern aesthetic. They have an outdoor patio as well for guests to enjoy during the warm summer months. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and represents the warm and inviting Thai culture every day. The next time youíre in Milwaukee, make sure to stop by Thai-namite for a meal and experience that will have you coming back for more!
