The Brick Pub and Grill’s owner, Tim, re-envisioned and rebuilt his restaurant that was once called Wrens II, owned and operated by his grandfather Louie. With a passion and dream to follow in his family legacy, Tim worked in the restaurant business and made cabinets before finally purchasing back the building that he and grandfather Louie once worked in together. With help from family, friends, and subcontractors, Tim rebuilt the restaurant from the ground up, but kept the solid cream ëbrickí foundation that wraps around the bar today. This is where the restaurantís name originates from and how Tim honors his grandfatherís many years of dedication to Wrens II. The building today is beautifully renovated. With high ceilings and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, feel like part of the family when dining at The Brick Pub and Grill.Keeping with tradition, Tim continues to feature a Milwaukee staple and his Grandfatherís signature recipe for their famous fish fry. The fish of choice is Walleye, a local delicacy for anyone in the Wisconsin area. The flakey and buttery Walleye is battered, fried to perfection, and served with homemade potato pancakes. Raved about by The Brickís regulars is the ëBrick Burger.í This high-quality Angus Beef patty is topped with pepper jack cheese, haystack onion strings, avocado, and a homemade southwest ranch dressing. The Brick Pub and Grill is also known to make a mean reuben sandwich as well. Tim is proud to say the kitchen never uses frozen food – every dish is made fresh to order. The restaurant’s widespread notoriety can attest to the success they have attained, and word of mouth certainly contributes to that.
