The Catís Meow is a 1920s themed restaurant that is located in the historic American House Railroad Hotel building that was originally constructed in 1869. The restaurant first opened in 1986 and its original owner, David Matos, still runs the place, but now with the help of his wife Melissa. The Catís Meow is a true family affair as David and Melissaís son and other relatives work at the restaurant as well. The restaurant doesnít just provide delicious food, but also a journey back in time educating its customers on what life was like back in the 1920s.Everything at the Catís Meow is made from scratch using the freshest ingredients possible. They cook every dish to order so it will always come out hot and fresh. A fun fact about the Catís Meow is that they were the second restaurant in Pennsylvania to serve buffalo wings. Today, their wings are one of their most popular menu items and they even make their very own hot sauce. The hot sauce is so good that they sell it to a few other restaurants to use. Another favorite from the menu is their Quesadilla. Many customers say its the best theyíve ever had.
