The Jagged Fork celebrated itís second anniversary in March of 2016. The owner Frank grew up in the restaurant business. Frankís parents owned a family restaurant for almost 20 years in Farmington Hills. Before that, Frank worked in his parents restaurant and banquet hall in Greece! When Frank was little he would spend three months over the summer in Greece working, and the rest of the year in the United States. Before opening The Jagged Fork in Grosse Pointe Farms, Frank and his business partners owned the sister location, Hudson Cafe in Detroit. Frank is ecstatic with the positive progress that Detroit has made in the last few years. When they were looking to open a second location, they fell upon the cool neighborhood community of Grosse Pointe Farms, found a perfect free standing building, and knew it was for them. If there would be one item to try off The Jagged Forkís menu, it would have to be the Breakfast Tamales. Two homemade chicken tamales topped with cheese and two easy eggs over a bed of cheesy hash browns served with homemade verde sauce, homemade ranchero sauce, and guacamole on the side. It is a nice sized portion and all the different flavors go really well together. They remodeled The Jagged Fork almost completely, and Frankís mom did all of the decorating. The floor, granite countertops, and the whole kitchen is completely new. The Jagged Fork is open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch and serve delicious French pressed coffee. Frank and his team hope to see you soon!
