The Loft Eatery is owned by Mary Jane Werley and her daughter, Jennifer Stretch. Both ladies are restaurant veterans. Mary Jane has been in the business for over forty years and Jennifer since she was fourteen years old. Before owning a restaurant the two had a food truck and gained a big following of customers. The Loft Eatery gets its name because of its location on the second floor. The atmosphere can be described as homey; the decor comes straight from Mary Jane and Jenniferís home. Both of them say their favorite part of owning a restaurant is getting to build relationships with their customers. The menu at The Loft Eatery consists of homestyle breakfast and lunch dishes. A customer favorite is ìThe Loftî which is made with onions, mushrooms, ham, home fries, mixed together with eggs, and topped with melted swiss cheese and gravy. Jennifer recommends their ìDough Boyî, a sandwich made with hand carved ham, American cheese, scrambled eggs, and homemade mustard sauce, between two pieces of grilled sourdough. Another must try is their meatloaf, which is a recipe of Mary Janeís mother. This famous meatloaf was featured on Foxís cooking show. It is made with oatmeal instead of bread, so those eating gluten free can try it as well! The Loft Eatery is open from 7-3 Tuesday-Saturday and 8-2 on Sunday. In the evenings they can be booked for private parties. They also hold their own special events like jazz nights, paint nights, and buffets. Download The Loft Eatery app for information on these events or to join their rewards program. Check out The Loft Eatery for delicious homestyle cooking and friendly service!
