Phil Bilodeau and Aimee Murphy are the co-founders of Wisconsin Thief Wine. The original location of Thief Wine is in downtown Milwaukeeís Historic Third Ward in the famous Public Market. Thief Wine opened in July of 2008 and is one of the great and only wine shops of Milwaukee. Thief Wine offers their customers an extensive selection of wine and champagne from all around the world. Beer and spirits are available as well. How do you choose from such a wide variety of wines? Not to worry! The approachable and knowledgeable staff of Thief Wine would be happy to assist you in your selection.   A very special attribute of Thief Wine is that it is located in Milwaukeeís Public Market. To pair with your wine, Thief Wine sells cheese and charcuterie boards. If you are looking for more than a snack, you can grab food to go from one of the many food vendors. There are many dining options to choose from with all different types of cuisine: Middle Eastern, Mexican, Thai, salads, soups, sandwiches, Italian, and a fish market/restaurant. Order your meal at one of the great eateries and bring your food to Thief Wine. Have a seat in their centrally situated dining area and ask your server what would be best to pair with your meal. Kick back and relax as you are in the hands of experts.    Thief Wine offers seminars that are held every other Tuesday of the month. It is only $15 to $20 (depending on the wines) and six different wines are picked with a theme to go along. For example, ìChardonnays From Around The Worldî could be the inspiration for one class. Be sure to purchase tickets before the event. Classes are limited to 15 people to keep an intimate, focused, and fun atmosphere.  Whether you are going in to educate yourself about wine or picking up a bottle on your way home from work, Thief Wine is always a great place to venture to.
