The artwork in the restaurant re-enforces the speakeasy theme. The restaurant has been recently recognized as having the Best Burger in Lowell. Chuck, Christine, and Deedee agree that the best part of working in the business is seeing customers happy and the camaraderie they have developed with their staff.The Thirsty First Tavern and Grill has a diverse menu. The Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are diner favorites. Popular selections include: the BTA with bacon, tomato, avocado and Muenster cheese and the Volstead Act with BBQ marinated grilled chicken, Cabot cheddar cheese, bacon, and tomato. Also, the White Lightning that is made with marinated tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and pesto topped with balsamic reduction. All grilled cheese sandwiches are served with choice of Hand-Cut French Fries, Onion Rings, or a House Salad.Popular hand tossed pizzas include the: Sweet Sausage Parmesan with Italian sweet sausage, tomato base, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses and The Rum Ham made with _black forest ham, pineapple, and an aged spiced rum glaze base.
