Anthony Boccella is the co-owner and Executive Chef of Trattoria Rosa Bianca. His wife Rosa is the other co-owner and the restaurant’s General Manager. Anthony tells us he has done every job in the restaurant business over the last twenty years. He started washing dishes and has been a GM and executive chef. Four years ago Anthony and Rosa opened Trattoria Rosa Bianca in an old Victorian home. People have compared the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere of the eatery to a visit at Grandmaís house. Anthonyís seasonally rotating menu features his own take on old school Italian dishes. Popular menu items include the Calamari Fritti featuring lightly fried squid, roasted tomato pesto, and gremolata. Also popular is the Lasagnette Rosso with tomato pasta, house made burrata, tomatoes, and basil. Just about every dish served at Trattoria Rosa Bianca is homemade. All the bread, sausage, pasta, and sauces are crafted in-house and derive from Anthonyís mother’s recipes. The Gnocchi di Ricotta featuring blueberries, balsamic, and gorgonzola dolce is an example of why Anthony wanted to open his own restaurant. He wanted to be able to create his own take on classic dishes with no restrictions.Trattoria Rosa Bianca is BYOB. They can host private dining events also.The beautiful Victorian building and small private rooms provide the perfect ambiance for small business dinners to elaborate wedding parties. They offer pre fixe menu packages for Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner. All of the menus are fully customizable to fit all tastes and budgets.
