The owner of Zefís Midtown Grill, Kol, knew when purchasing the restaurant that business would be slow at first in an area that is rebuilding itself. He is happy to announce that business has doubled since they opened in the end of 2014. With all the new construction, there is a lot of promise and Kol and his wife see the area booming. Have no fear; even with the construction, it is still easy to park, and there are always openings at the nearby hospital. Kol worked in restaurants in his 20ís, but wandered in a different direction and is actually a general contractor by trade. Kol happened to acquire Zefís Midtown by ìdumb luckî as he calls it. He was having breakfast one day at the restaurant and overheard the owners talking about how they wanted to sell it. He jumped on the opportunity, made an offer, and is now the proud owner. Kol is a strong believer in good food and good service. Currently open for breakfast and lunch, the Eggs Benedict, Omelettes, and Salads are popular items. The Midtowner, consisting of corned beef, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing on deli rye bread is a huge customer favorite. Zefís Midtown Grill does not take reservations but do recommend calling ahead for larger parties. Try Zefís Midtown Grill out for breakfast or lunch, you will not be disappointed! Kol even mentioned that by early Summer 2016, he hopes to have a liquor license, an outdoor patio, and extend their hours through dinner. You can always expect new things from Zefís Midtown Grill!
